Wall Engravings

Jeanne Delaître (Macha Méril) does not know that Jean Doit (Patrick Jouané) is dead, and she goes on remembering him as she last knew him, a love she keeps returning to. He was a melancholic young man who would not accept the world as it was and always wanted to leave. Guy Gilles builds the film from her looking back, letting the past come to her in pieces.
