In present-day Los Angeles, Adrienne (Sienna Miller) and Matteo (Diego Luna) are new parents whose marriage is already coming apart. Tara Miele sends them back through their shared past, scene by scene, until the memories start to show what neither will say aloud. Adrienne stands in the old rooms of their life, Matteo beside her, and the baby is a few feet away in the next room.
