“The Race Against Time”

Ishwarchand Thakur (Amitabh Bachchan), a rich businessman, learns an illness will take him within a few months, and he orders his reckless son Aditya (Akshay Kumar) out of the house. Vipul Amrutlal Shah adapts a Gujarati play by Aatish Kapadia, built around the father's one stubborn aim. The old man gives the young one a hard shove toward responsibility, while Aditya's wife Pooja (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) stands in the doorway of the home he has been sent from.
