War and Peace, Part IV: Pierre Bezukhov

Pierre Bezukhov (Sergei Bondarchuk), the wealthy count who has wandered through the whole story, walks into a burning Moscow dressed as a peasant, set on killing Napoleon. He is taken prisoner and marched for months with the retreating French army. Sergei Bondarchuk, directing himself in the fourth and last part, keeps Natasha (Ludmila Savelyeva) and Andrei (Vyacheslav Tikhonov) in the same long road of refugees, one cart apart.
