“An American dream”

David Packouz (Miles Teller), a Miami massage therapist, is scraping by when his old friend Efraim Diveroli (Jonah Hill) offers him a place in a small arms-dealing business. Together they bid on Pentagon contracts to supply allies in Afghanistan, and one of them is worth about $300 million. Todd Phillips tracks David as the money gets bigger, and what he has to hide from his girlfriend Iz (Ana de Armas) starts to weigh on him.
