War for the Planet of the Apes

Caesar (Andy Serkis) has lost nearly everything to war with the humans, and now he leads his ape colony north through the wilderness, searching for safety. The deeper they travel, the more Caesar's need for revenge pulls him back toward the fight he wanted to escape. Matt Reeves shoots the forests and compounds in muted grays and greens, letting the conflict narrow until there is no ground left between the apes and the only future they can claim.
