War Horse

“Separated by war. Tested by battle. Bound by friendship.”

Albert Narracott (Jeremy Irvine) has raised the colt Joey himself, and he cannot stand to lose him, so when his father Ted (Peter Mullan) sells the horse to the Cavalry on the eve of the First World War, the boy refuses to let it end there. Steven Spielberg follows Joey from owner to owner across the battlefields of France, while Albert, too young to be sent, goes looking for him anyway. Every mile between them is now a war.
