War Horse
“Separated by war. Tested by battle. Bound by friendship.”
Albert Narracott (Jeremy Irvine) wants to keep his horse Joey after his father Ted (Peter Mullan) sells the animal to the British cavalry during World War I. When Joey is shipped to the front, Albert enlists to find him, carrying that single impossible hope through the mud and carnage of the trenches. Everything Albert loves is being taken from him, and the war shows no mercy to those who refuse to let go.
