War on Everyone

“They have the right to remain violent.”

Two Albuquerque detectives, Bob Bolaño (Michael Peña) and Terry Monroe (Alexander Skarsgård), shake down every criminal they meet and frame the ones who won't pay. Then they lean on a man who may be far more dangerous than they are, though nobody can say for sure. John Michael McDonagh writes the dialogue deadpan, and the cops talk about everything except the crimes.
