Warlock

“Wherever you've been ... Whatever you've seen ... You've never run into anything like Warlock.”

Nobody in the town of Warlock can say who the gunman is that the sheriff couldn't stop, only that a band of cowboys has run the place by terror. The residents hire Clay Blaisedell (Henry Fonda) as marshal, and he arrives with his friend Tom Morgan (Anthony Quinn). Edward Dmytryk puts Johnny Gannon (Richard Widmark) in the middle, a man who has to decide which side of Blaisedell's law he stands on.
