Warriors of Virtue

“In a world beyond your imagination a battle for the universe has begun.”

Ryan Jeffers (Mario Yedidia) is a boy who gets pulled out of ordinary life and into Tao, a mythical land that the film builds around the Tao Te Ching. There the animal warriors of the title are fighting an evil lord, and Ryan lands at the center of their war. Ronny Yu, in his first American English-language feature, sends the kangaroo fighters leaping through the fights, but it's Ryan who has to decide whether he can be one of them.
