Watchers

“It started as a secret experiment... It ended up as a new breed of terror.”

Travis Cornell (Corey Haim) is a boy who wants a pet, and when he takes in a stray dog he gets one that seems to understand everything he says. Jon Hess has the dog hunted by Lem Johnson (Michael Ironside), a government agent, and by a second creature that escaped the same research lab. Under the chase sits a plain idea: a runaway animal is worth protecting, whatever the people who built it want back.
