Watchtower

Nihat (Olgun Şimşek) takes a job as a fire warden and climbs into a remote tower in the wilderness, hoping to leave a dark past on the ground below. Then Seher (Nilay Erdönmez), a young woman with a secret of her own, enters his isolation, and he finds himself drawn toward her. Pelin Esmer keeps the film still and watchful, trusting long silences to say what her characters will not.
