Waterboys

Five boys at a Japanese high school sign up for synchronised swimming, and the sports teams jeer at them from the pool deck. Suzuki (Satoshi Tsumabuki) and Sato (Hiroshi Tamaki) are two of them, and their coach is the new teacher Isomura (Naoto Takenaka), who has never done it before either. Shinobu Yaguchi builds the film around these misfits and the teacher who stands beside them, and each of them needs the other four to get through.
