Way Back Home

“Isolated in an unknown word lost innocence, lost communication.”

Song Jung-yeon (Jeon Do-yeon) wants to keep her family afloat, and the car body repair shop she runs with Im Jong-bae (Go Soo) is losing money. To cover the debt, she agrees to carry thirty kilograms of cocaine out of the country. The story draws on the true case of a Korean housewife jailed for two years in Martinique, and Pang Eun-jin films the ordinary details of her life with a plain, unhurried eye.
