We Are the Best!

“THREE GIRLS VS. THE WORLD.”

Bobo (Mira Barkhammar) and Klara (Mira Grosin) are thirteen and want a band, in 1980s Stockholm, where everyone tells them punk is already dead. Neither of them owns an instrument, so they borrow a bass, and Hedvig (Liv LeMoyne), the shy girl who plays guitar at church, gets pulled in. Lukas Moodysson, adapting his wife Coco's graphic novel, shows the three of them crowded into a rehearsal room, shouting a song nobody else will hear.
