We Believe You

Alice (Myriem Akheddiou) wants one thing from the hearing, to keep her children out of their father's hands, and she has a single chance to say so. Opposite her sit the judge (Natali Broods) and the father (Laurent Capelluto), who is asking the court to decide where the children belong. Arnaud Dufeys and Charlotte Devillers, in their first feature, make a custody case about how much a mother's word can be made to carry.
