In a Washington D.C. neighborhood where the gangs set the terms, fourteen-year-old Lucas (Elijah Rodriguez) has already been pulled in. A war veteran, Daniel (Jean-Claude Van Damme), who served in Afghanistan, arrives on the block, and Lior Geller sets the two of them in the same orbit. Lucas wants one thing, and it is that his ten-year-old brother never follows him into that life.
