Weathering with You

“A story about the secret of this world that only I and she know.”

Hodaka Morishima (Kotaro Daigo) is a high school freshman who runs away from his island home to Tokyo, where money runs short and the rain never seems to stop. He finally lands work writing for a small occult magazine, then meets Hina Amano (Nana Mori), a girl who can clear the sky just by wishing for it. Makoto Shinkai sets their friendship against a city that keeps sinking under gray weather, and the people who need her sunshine want more of it every day.
