Weekend in Taipei

“Pack for a long weekend.”

John Lawlor (Luke Evans), a former DEA agent, lands in Taipei and ends up in a car with Joey Kang (Gwei Lun-Mei), the mercenary driver he once loved. George Huang, writing with Luc Besson, sets their reunion over a single weekend in a city where both of them still have enemies. Luke carries the old romance and the old work in the same pocket, and he cannot put down one without the other.
