Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins

“Roscoe Jenkins aims for the heartstrings and funny bones, a raucous helping of family soul food.”

Roscoe Jenkins (Martin Lawrence) is a celebrated TV talk-show host who left his small Southern hometown behind and rarely looks back. He returns for his parents' wedding anniversary, where Papa Jenkins (James Earl Jones), Mamma Jenkins (Margaret Avery), and a houseful of relatives are waiting. Malcolm D. Lee's film gets its laughs from a plain idea: no amount of fame changes how your family sees you.
