(2013)Directed by Riccardo Milani98 minComedy

Peppino (Claudio Bisio) asks for very little: fishing, his friends, a precarious job at the village library in the mountains. Then a muddle among the politicians gets him elected President of the Italian Republic, and he is pulled out of that life. Riccardo Milani sends him up against Janis Clementi (Kasia Smutniak), the Presidency's exacting deputy secretary general, and the story holds that an ordinary man's common sense may serve better than a polished one's.
