Werner and the Wizard of Booze

The comic artist Brösel (Rötger Feldmann) has a magic pen that hands him funny stories, and he gives it up for Rumpelstilzchen (Meret Becker), who promises in return to fulfill one of her wishes. Niki List cuts between live action and the animated life of Werner, a plumber's apprentice who loves motorbikes, along with his friends. The film treats a cartoon as a place to leave grown-up worries behind and make a loud, happy mess.
