What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?

“Sister, sister, oh so fair, why is there blood all over your hair?”

In a decaying mansion in Hollywood, two aging sisters share a house and a long, bitter history. Blanche Hudson (Joan Crawford) is a former film star who cannot walk, and she depends on her sister Baby Jane Hudson (Bette Davis), once a vaudeville child star, who has begun to torment her. Robert Aldrich keeps the camera inside the house with them, so the rooms feel smaller each time you see them.
