What Happened Was...

“Comedy. Romance. Terror. The perfect first date.”

Two coworkers at a big law firm, Jackie (Karen Sillas) and Michael (Tom Noonan), have agreed to have dinner at her apartment, and neither one will say why it matters so much. Noonan adapted his own stage play and keeps the whole evening in one room, with two people circling each other across a table. The film is about how hard it is to tell someone you want to be known.
