“...being friends has its benefits?”

Wallace (Daniel Radcliffe) is a medical-school dropout in Toronto, living with his roommate Allan (Adam Driver) and sitting out romance after a string of bad breakups. At a party he meets Chantry (Zoe Kazan), an animator who lives with her longtime boyfriend, and the two fall into an easy friendship almost at once. Michael Dowse's film turns on a plain question: whether the person you talk to most is the person you're supposed to be with.
