Whatever Happened to My Revolution
Angèle (Judith Davis) was eight when the first McDonald's opened in East Berlin, and she has spent the years since feeling she was born too late for any real fight. Her family was full of activists, yet her sister went into business and her mother dropped politics overnight to live alone in the countryside. Davis directs herself as Angèle, still gathering friends and arguments for a revolution no one else seems to be waiting for.
