When Animals Dream

“The truth is known to all but one.”

Marie (Sonia Suhl) starts a job at a fish-processing plant on her small island and notices her body changing, in ways she cannot explain. At home she looks after her father Thor (Lars Mikkelsen) and her silent, catatonic mother. Jonas Alexander Arnby keeps Marie hunched and watchful, a sixteen-year-old with almost no friends who has begun to understand that the changes in her body make her a threat to the people around her.
