When Pigs Have Wings

After a storm, Jafaar (Sasson Gabai), a poor fisherman in Gaza, pulls a pig out of his nets, an animal unclean in the eyes of both Muslims and Jews. He tries to sell it, first to a UN official (Ulrich Tukur), then to Yelena (Myriam Tekaïa), who raises pigs on a Jewish settlement for security reasons. Sylvain Estibal sends him through checkpoints and past fundamentalists with the animal in tow, and Jafaar just wants to get paid.
