When the Bough Breaks

“She's carrying more than just a secret.”

Anna Walsh (Jaz Sinclair) has a secret desire that the Taylors cannot see. She is a young woman who agrees to carry a child for John (Morris Chestnut) and Laura Taylor (Regina Hall), a couple desperate for a baby of their own. Jon Cassar keeps the household tense as the pregnancy advances, and the film is about how badly people want a family, and how far they will go to get one.
