When the Light Breaks

Una (Elín Hall), a young art student, spends one long Icelandic summer day moving from one sunset to the next, taking in love, friendship and sorrow along the way. She is grieving her first love, and Gunni (Mikael Kaaber) is part of the day she is trying to get through. Rúnar Rúnarsson keeps the film inside that single stretch of daylight and stays close to her.
