When the Lights Went Out

“Set in 1974 and based on true events.”

Len (Steven Waddington) and Jenny (Kate Ashfield) want a proper home for their family, and in Yorkshire in 1974 they believe they have found one. Pat Holden has the Maynards settle into the house with their daughter Sally (Tasha Connor), until the nights turn violent and a pale girl (Molly Windsor) appears among them. It is a story about how far people will hold to an ordinary hope while the place they chose to live in refuses them.
