When Time Ran Out...

Hank Anderson (Paul Newman) is a drilling foreman on a south Pacific island, a working man who has spent his days sinking pipe into the ground beneath a new resort. The developer, Shelby Gilmore (William Holden), has guests booked in and money invested, and the volcano under the property has started to wake. James Goldstone stages it as a disaster picture with a large ensemble, handing the crowd of guests to a dozen familiar faces.
