Where'd You Go, Bernadette

“Disappearances can be deceiving”

Bernadette Fox (Cate Blanchett) was an architect, and now she mostly stays home, avoiding the neighbors and the people who want things from her. Her husband Elgie (Billy Crudup) and fifteen-year-old daughter Bee are planning a family trip to Antarctica when Bernadette goes missing. Richard Linklater lets the search unfold at an easy pace, with Bee and Elgie piecing together who Bernadette has been.
