Which Way to the Front?

(1970)Directed by Jerry Lewis96 min · GComedy, War
“You vill see... and you vill laugh.”

Brendan Byers III (Jerry Lewis) is one of the richest men in America, and the army has stamped him 4-F, unfit to fight Hitler. He refuses to accept it. With his money he gathers other rejected men into a private force of his own, and Jerry Lewis, who directs, also plays Field Marshal Erik Kesselring. Behind the pratfalls sits a plain question of who gets to count as a soldier.
