While at War
“Sometimes silence is the worst lie”
In Salamanca in 1936, the writer Miguel de Unamuno (Karra Elejalde) backs the military uprising, sure it will put an end to the chaos of the streets. Alejandro Amenábar follows him through the first weeks of the rebellion, as the killing starts and the old man's certainty begins to wear thin. Around him stand Ana (Nathalie Poza), who sees where this is heading, and Millán-Astray (Eduard Fernández), who sees it very differently.
