Whisky Galore

The whisky on the island of Todday has run out, and with the war on, no more is coming. Gillies MacKinnon follows the islanders as a ship runs aground nearby, with Macroon (Gregor Fisher) among them and the English Home Guard commander Captain Waggett (Eddie Izzard) trying to keep order. The pleasure here is a whole community of neighbours, who would rather share a secret than hand it to an outsider.
