White Dog

“When man’s best friend becomes his fiercest enemy…”

Julie Sawyer (Kristy McNichol), a young actress, takes in a stray German shepherd after hitting it with her car and nursing it back to health. The dog turns out to have been trained to attack Black people, and Keys (Paul Winfield), an animal trainer, takes on the job of unlearning it. Fuller shoots the dog's white coat and bared teeth in flat, grainy daylight.
