White God
“The unwanted will have their day.”
Lili (Zsófia Psotta) is thirteen, and the one thing she is sure of is her dog Hagen. Then her father (Sándor Zsótér) sets him loose on the streets, and she goes out to bring him home, believing that loving him is enough. Mundruczó, whose film premiered at Cannes in 2014, follows Hagen through the same streets, a dog alone, while Lili keeps calling for him.
