White House Down

“It will start like any other day.”

John Cale (Channing Tatum) is a Capitol Police officer who has just been turned down for the Secret Service job he wanted, and he can't bring himself to tell his young daughter. He takes her on a tour of the White House instead, the same day an armed paramilitary group storms the building. Roland Emmerich puts Cale and President Sawyer (Jamie Foxx) side by side in the corridors, two men who have to trust each other fast.
