“Reality Just Switched Sides”

Louis Pinnock (John Travolta) works in a chocolate factory and wants only to keep his wife and two children fed and housed. He is mistaken for a voyeur while delivering a package to the CEO, Thaddeus Thomas (Harry Belafonte), and then loses his job and watches his family get evicted. Desmond Nakano sets the story in an America where black people hold the money and white people live in the ghettos, so the film's idea is the reversal itself, offered without comment.
