White Men Can't Jump

“Play hard. Hustle harder.”

Why would a former prodigy named Kamal (Sinqua Walls) spend his days on street courts with a hooper like Jeremy (Jack Harlow), whose body keeps failing him? Calmatic, in a remake of the 1992 film, makes the partnership the point, since a friendship can carry as much hope and as much loss as a game.
