“No woman is safe… while he is loose!”

Paul White (David Keith) installs high-end stereo systems in the big houses of an isolated, wealthy desert community, and all he wants is to be left alone with his wife and daughter. Then local housewives start turning up murdered and mutilated in their own homes, and Mendoza (Art Evans) is looking at Paul. Donald Cammell keeps the focus on the marriage, on Joan (Cathy Moriarty) watching her husband and wondering what she has been sleeping next to.
