Pedro (Alfredo Castro) travels to Tierra del Fuego at the turn of the twentieth century to photograph the wedding of a powerful landowner (Lars Rudolph). The assignment should be simple work, but he cannot stop looking at the bride-to-be, Aurora (Lola Rubio). Théo Court, who won Best Director in Venice's Horizons section for the film, holds his camera on the empty, bleached country and lets the violence stay at its edges.
