White Paradise

In a chalet high in the Italian Alps, Samuel (Denis Ménochet) hides away with his seven-year-old daughter, a widower worn thin by raising her alone. Locals there help the police hunt migrants, and he stays out of it until he meets Chehreh (Zar Amir Ebrahimi), a woman who has fled Afghanistan. Guillaume Renusson sends them toward the border on foot, the chalet behind them and a group of angry men following.
