White Settlers

“They don't belong here.”

On their first night in a 19th century farmhouse in the Scottish Borders, Sarah (Pollyanna McIntosh) and Ed (Lee Williams) lie awake in a house that is still more renovation project than home. Sarah hears noises in the dark, Ed tells her it's her imagination, and then he goes downstairs and does not come back. Simeon Halligan keeps the two of them apart for most of the night, each alone with the fear of losing the other.
