“This is no bedtime story.”

Liz (Theresa Russell) works the streets of Los Angeles through one long night, and she talks straight to the camera while she does it. Her pimp Blake (Benjamin Mouton) is never far off, and his temper decides how each hour goes. Ken Russell cuts between her confessions and flashbacks of the mother she was, until the story ends on Liz herself, still talking, still on the street.
