Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

(1966)Directed by Mike Nichols131 minDrama
“You are cordially invited to George and Martha's for an evening of fun and games”

It's after a faculty party at a university, and George (Richard Burton), a history professor, and his wife Martha (Elizabeth Taylor) have company coming over anyway. Nick (George Segal) and Honey (Sandy Dennis) are new to the faculty, and the drinks start before they've sat down. Mike Nichols, in his first film, keeps everyone in that one house while the hosts turn their marriage on the guests, with nobody free to leave.
