Who's Minding the Store?

“Look who's minding the store!”

Norman Phiffer (Jerry Lewis) wants to marry Barbara Tuttle (Jill St. John), and he has no idea her family owns a department store empire. Her mother, Phoebe Tuttle (Agnes Moorehead), hires him for a job in the store, sure that the work will humiliate him enough to send Barbara away. Frank Tashlin turns the sales floor into a hazard course, and Norman keeps showing up for it, still hoping to win her.
