Who's Singin' Over There?

On Saturday, 5 April 1941, a dilapidated bus rattles along a country road in the heart of Serbia, bound for Belgrade. The passengers are strangers: two Gypsy musicians, a World War I veteran, a hunter with a shotgun, a Germanophile, a sickly man. Slobodan Šijan puts them under the care of Miško (Aleksandar Berček), the owner's dim-witted son, and the war begins the next morning.
