Who's the Man?

“The First Hip-Hop Whodunnit!”

Ed Lover (Ed Lover) and Doctor Dre (Doctor Dré) cut hair for a living and aren't good at it, so they join the police instead. Their duty sergeant, Sgt. Cooper (Denis Leary), rides them at every turn, and they stumble onto a major crime anyway. Ted Demme, in his first feature, fills the film with rappers of the day, and the two barbers keep their clippers and their grins.
